Bengal was the richest place on earth at the time ... and the british robbed every penny out of the people living there ... it was so bad that famines destroyed the region for many years to come ... they got so immensely rich from that battle the whole industrial revolution was fueled by it ... it shaped the modern world ... Bengal is still in ruins from it and the people are extremely impoverished because of the british theft ...
